Once in a Blue Moon Book Review

Richard Humphreys captures the imagination in his delightful picture book, Once in a Blue Moon. The illustrations by Gabriel Anderson are whimsical and fun. This book focuses on family, shared experiences, and the tales that grow out of them. When I read it to the baby she loved the vivid colors and voicing. When I read it to the seven-year-old it was the seed of a longer conversation. I love picture books as a shared experience with children. I know you will love Once in a Blue Moon when you share it with a young person in your life!
